Who we are
The Mississippi Gastroenterology Society is dedicated to enhancing the medical treatment and scientific research of gastrointestinal disorders. We foster the exchange of knowledge in the fields of Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, and related practices among our members, GI nurses, and specialty technicians. Additionally, we offer a platform for presenting relevant clinical and scientific research in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
Our Goals
To offer continuing medical education for GI clinicians, fellows in training, and assistants through meetings, multimedia, and online resources.
To represent clinicians in national and local healthcare policy discussions, ensuring that patient care and clinical medicine are prioritized.
To create a forum for discussing and promoting cost-effective, efficient, and patient-centered practice management issues relevant to gastroenterologists in Mississippi.
To encourage members to advocate for clinical research in gastrointestinal disorders.
To serve as a valuable resource for patients in Mississippi dealing with gastrointestinal disorders.
